Meet Your Bowen Practitioner

In the time since her practice has opened, Emily Deneault has helped hundreds of people overcome their physical pain and discomfort. The number of people coming to her clinic increases each month. This growth happened almost entirely by word of mouth.  When people have great healing experiences, they want to share them with others.  And they often encourage others to try Bowen Therapy.   With each referral and new client, Emily’s primary goal of helping people is being achieved.

Emily is American Bowen Academy certified with the highest credentials.  To reach this level of recognition, she succeeded through all the levels of the Bowen Advanced Procedure modules. She is the only practitioner in Massachusetts to have this level of training.  Along the way, she has been guided by her Bowen mentor, a naturopathic physician who has practiced for over 30 years. Furthermore, Emily is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist.  Using this training, she often gives stretches and exercises to help undo and change old postural patterns.

A long-time follower of alternative approaches to medicine and healthcare, she continues to study, learn, and grow in her career.  

Emily graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science.  She has worked as an EMT, a lead laboratory technician in various hospital settings, and a Professor at UMASS Dartmouth.  She lives in the Southeast MA area with her husband, three teenage boys, and their dog Tucker.  When not working or enjoying being with her family. Emily likes running, reading, and tending to her saltwater reef tank.
